Carpet Cleaning FAQs

Encapsulation / Low Moisture Method: 1-2 hours

Truckmounted Steam Cleaning: 2-24 hours

Dry time is affected by humidity, temperatures and air flow to area. Using fans in rooms after we clean and turning on your AC or heating system can help with the dry times. Do not put furniture with wood or metal touching the carpets until they are dry because it can cause a rust or wood stain. You can walk on your carpets right after but no shoes because it can resoil your carpets, use socks or feet. Be careful walking from the damp carpet to hard surfaces to avoid slipping.

As the carpet dries, these bubbles or wrinkles should start to lay flat again. Once it is dry they should be unnoticeable. This is usually a sign that the carpet was in need of re-stretching prior to the carpet cleaning

We cannot guarantee every spot and stain will come out. There are times where the stain actually changed the dye of the carpet or discolored the carpet. We can however get every stain out with our dyeing services where we strip the dye from that area then re-dye the carpet back to the normal color.

Every 6 to 12 months but if there is more traffic or kids, pets or big family. You  might be closer to the 6 month or more.

On Average, 20 minutes to walk through and set up and then 20 minutes per room but depends on soil, any stains we remove, size and furniture being moved.

Two parts. First part is residues left in the carpet which attract dirt. Every cleaner uses some sort of pre-spray and there are all kinds, but this basically the pre-spray isn’t completely rinsed out and neutralized. Our cleaning pre-spray is soap and residue free and we use as minimal as we can and we rinse with soft water (hard water will make your carpets crunchy) and neutralize as necessary (heavily soiled carpets). Second part is the protectant from the manufacturer gets worn off from soil and traffic and we can re-apply it after the cleaning.

It’s not necessary, but we recommend it. When needed, we can pre-vacuum and our equipment is vacuuming the entire time

Carpets are your houses biggest filter and catch dust, dirt, dander and allergens. Soils and stains will actually cause your carpets to wear down faster, have a professional carpet cleaning will extend the life of your carpet, can keep manufacturers warranties in place, remove dirt and allergens making it healthier for you and your family, and helps restore the original look and luster of your carpets.

Just a steam cleaning will not, You will need pet odor treatment which treats the bacteria causing the odor then we extract all of that and removing the source removes the odor.

We use a few methods. 95% of the time we use hot water extraction with a truck mounted system often referred as steam cleaning. This method is recommended by the carpet manufacturers and is the best method for carpet cleaning. This method removes the toughest soils. We pre-spray the carpet then agitate fibers and then hot water extract.

Second method is low moisture cleaning with a buffer or Counter Rotating Brushes. We pre-spray the carpet and pre-spray the carpets with our encapsulation method and scrub the carpets with either the CRB or Buffer. Then our solution encapsulates the soil and turn it into a easy to remove micro crystals. You will have to vacuum over the next several days and be amazed how cleaner and cleaner they get.

Typically, an area is a room that is up to 200 square feet(15×13.3). Living room/dining room combos are considered two areas. Any area over 200 square feet but less than 600 is priced as two areas. Baths, Halls, Stairs, and walk in closets are priced separately from a standard area, at a lower price.

We do a hot water extraction method which is often referred as steam cleaning because of the steam you see coming out. Our truckmount produces hot water which helps remove dirt and soil. This hot water is what we use to rinse your carpet and the powerful suction removes most of the water that is put down.

Depending on the type of carpet we’re cleaning, you may notice a faint scent especially with wool carpets. When there is pet odor and it is not treated it’ll still smell like pet odor.

Carpet & Upholstery Protection FAQs

After thoroughly cleaning your carpets and upholstery, our special protector can be professionally applied. Our protectors help resist soiling from dirt, water and oil based spills by covering each fiber in a protective coating. This give you more time to clean up spots and spills before they soak and permanently staining your carpets. This will help keep your carpets and upholstery looking it best and makes vacuuming and cleaning up spots easier.

Yes, carpets come with a protector from the manufacturers. This is why any spilled drinks on new carpet is easy to clean and doesn’t stain it. This protector is removed after time with traffic and soils. Carpet manufacturers recommend that you have this protector applied about once a year.

Carpet cleaning protectors do not leave a residue. What leaves a residue is any soaps being used and not rinsed out.

Not exactly, the carpet and upholstery protector puts a coating around the fiber and lets you pick up spills without letting the stain set.

Tile & Grout Cleaning FAQs

We pre-spray your tile and grout, scrub the grout and tiles and then we use a pressure wash-like tool that hooks up to our truckmount and clean and extracts the dirt and grime embedded in the grout.

To preserve the sealant and general cleaning, we recommend that you use a neutral cleaner. You’ll want to avoid bleach and harsh chemical, it cause the sealant to wear off earlier.

Wait until sealant is dry which is about 30 minutes, then you can walk it. It takes about 24 hours to cure so avoid any liquid contacts.

Color seal will restore your grout to its original appearance. Our premium color seal restoration service will fix stained grout and wrong color installed grout by providing a layer of uniform color to your grout lines, your tile and grout will look like it was just installed and sometimes better. Color stain sealant also works as protectant barrier against water and oil based stains, spills and dirt/soil.

Grout is a porous material that absorbs soil and spills like a sponge. The sealant will help by giving a layer of protection against dirt, and spills so you can clean it up before they soak the grout. We have a clear sealant or a color sealer.

Clear sealer is an invisible or clear layer of protection. This layer will give you more time to clean up dirt and spills before the permanently stain your grout. It is not waterproof though.

We use truck mounted system and use a process called hot water extraction often referred to as steam cleaning because of the steam you see when we are cleaning.

Avoid using harsh chemicals like bleach that will break down your sealer. Use a neutral grout cleaner.

We recommend mixing 1/2 cup of baking soda, 1/4 cup of hydrogen peroxide, 1 tsp dish soap. Mix together the baking soda, hydrogen peroxide and dish soap. Spoon mixture onto grout, wait 10 minutes, scrub and rinse.

Different factors will determine how often you need your tile and grout cleaned. Traffic, pets, kids, parties and your floor maintenance. Anywhere between 6 months and 24 months.

Dirt and soil get compacted into your tile and grout, causing noticeable grout discoloration and traffic areas on your tile. A professional tile and grout cleaning will bring your tile and grout back to life.

We offer 30 day guarantee if you are not happy for any reason we will spot clean or completely reclean the area in question. Some situations grout will be stained and only a color seal will be able to fix that.

Hardwood Cleaning FAQs

Wax can make hardwood floors hard to clean and recoat. We can do tests before to make sure we are able to do the cleaning. Floors contaminated by the use of certain maintenance products may not be completely removed by just a cleaning. Products like oil soap, furniture polish, and wax. A simple cleaning will not take this off and sometimes the dirt is embedded with the wax. These products may cause adhesion problem of our recoating system. Yes. We remove dirt and soil with our hardwood floor cleaning process, then we’ll coat your floors with our maintenance coat solution. Our fast drying maintenance coat will leave your floors with a uniform, overall sheen and help protect it between cleanings.

When cleaning your hardwood floors, you should ask yourself what kind of hardwood you have and what kind of cleaner have you have been using on your floors in the past. If your floors are sealed with polyurethane or wax, use a mild or pH-neutral soap. Stay away from acidic cleaners because they can damage wood over time. If you don’t know what your floors have been cleaned with, the best product to clean hardwood floors is a neutral, pH-balanced hardwood specific floor cleaner because it’s safe on all hardwood and laminate floors.

We do not recommend that you steam clean area rugs on hardwood floors. Water and steam can permanently damage hardwood. The best area to move the rugs is on to the tile or garage.

Regular mopping doesn’t reach that stubborn soil that’s in the grooves and pores of your hardwood, but our hardwood floor cleaning does. The edges and stairs are done by hand.
